Whether you are brand new to the working world, or if you’re looking for a change and want to learn new skills, Chester Trades Education Project is committed to helping you meet your personal and career objectives. CTEP offers a unique opportunity as the cost of tuition is covered for ALL students accepted into the program. Work tools are also provided, and additional funding is available to address other needs such as transportation assistance, childcare costs, work clothes, safety goggles, etc. CTEP students learn by doing; training is hands-on and is career focused.

CTEP is Committed to Each Student’s Success

All CTEP students begin the program by taking the Student Success Course. This course was created specifically for CTEP students, and focuses on strategies for achieving greater academic, professional, and social success. The course encourages self-awareness, strengthens critical thinking, promotes effective communication skills, and encourages students to take personal responsibility for their own success, overcome personal barriers, and connect with community resources. In addition, students receive consistent mentoring and access to support services such as tutoring and professional development. Mentors help keep students on task for academic expectations and progress and provide guidance and resources in order to successfully complete the program and launch their new career.
